TURTLE RELEASE
Right in front of the resort, The Palmarito Turtle Conservation Project hosts baby
turtle releases up to three times each week. Species include green and black sea
turtles, Olive Ridley turtles, and the occasional leatherback turtle. The Vivo Foundation
has helped save over 450,000 baby sea turtles.
WHALE & DOLPHIN WATCHING
Puerto Escondido’s coastal waters are a major transit zone for migrating marine life.
